About the Course

Calculus-Based Physics is brought to you by Michele and is carefully designed to help you explore the laws that govern the physical universe—from falling apples to planetary motion—all through the lens of calculus. If you're daunted by the math or feel like physics is just “too hard,” you're not alone. Michele struggled with it too. That’s why this course is built for real students, not robots—people who want clarity, confidence, and community as they work through deeply fascinating (and sometimes frustrating) ideas together.

This is not just a set of videos. It’s a study system: conceptual lessons, guided math walkthroughs, and a place to wrestle with the real meaning behind the equations.

What You Will Learn

Kinematics & Calculus: Understand motion using derivatives and integrals. Whether it’s tracking the velocity of a rollercoaster or predicting a spacecraft’s path, we’ll break down what’s changing, how fast, and why.

Work, Energy, and Power: Go beyond definitions. Learn how force and displacement combine through integration, and explore how energy is conserved (or not) in dynamic systems.

Rotational Motion: Explore angular momentum, torque, and rotational inertia. It’s not just spinning tops—it’s how planets orbit and why bicycles stay upright.

Newton’s Laws in a Calculus World: Learn how differential equations emerge naturally from Newton’s second law. We’ll go beyond plug-and-chug and into the foundations of mechanics.

Who Should Take This Course?

High School Students (AP Physics C or equivalent): Ideal for students preparing for or currently enrolled in calculus-based physics. It’s a great way to preview or reinforce classroom content.

College Students: Whether you’re a physics major or tackling it as a prerequisite, this course supports your success with visual explanations, problem-solving strategies, and real-world examples.

Homeschool Students: This course stands on its own with complete video lessons, problem sets, and optional community study sessions to keep you motivated.

Curious Learners with Calculus Knowledge: You don’t have to be in school to love learning. If you know a bit of calculus and want to see the world through a physics lens, you’re in the right place.
